How a job starts

With an inspection rather than a price quoted over the phone. We walk the inside of the house where you are seeing activity, the full exterior perimeter, the garage and the attic access. We look for the species, the harborage and the way in. Correct identification is the whole job, because a ghost ant, a big headed ant and a fire ant call for three different products and hitting the wrong one can split a colony and make the problem larger.

Then you get the plan in writing. What is covered, how often we come, what each visit includes and what it costs. We say the term out loud before anything is signed. If a one-time treatment is the right answer we will tell you that instead of selling you a plan.

What every plan includes

Free re-treatment between scheduled visits. See activity before the next service and we come out again at no extra charge.

Notes after every visit. Your technician records what was treated, what was found and what to watch for, and a copy reaches you the same day.

A text before arrival, so you have time to bring the dog in and unlock the side gate.

Product information on request. Ask what was used and you get the product name and its label information. Everything is applied according to that label, which controls where a product may be used, how much goes down and how long to stay off a treated surface.

How we work around pets and children

Indoor work is targeted. Treatment goes into cracks, voids, hinge gaps and under appliances where pests actually harbor, rather than being sprayed broadly across living space. Most of the work on a general plan happens outside the house entirely.

Tell us before the visit if anyone in the house is pregnant, if there is a newborn, or if a pet has a health condition, and we adjust the approach and the placements. If you want to read the label before we start, ask and we will hand it over.

Pricing and scheduling

Prices come from what the house actually needs: square footage, lot size, how long the problem has been running and what the species requires. The figures on our service pages are typical Hillsborough County ranges with the date they were last reviewed, so you can see whether a quote sits where it should.

Free inspections. Written quotes. No charge for a call back between scheduled visits. Most inspections are booked within a few days, and we hold space for urgent work.

Licensing in Florida, and what to ask

Pest control in Florida is regulated. A business needs a license from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and it needs a certified operator in charge for each category it works in, whether that is general household pest, termite and wood destroying organisms, or lawn and ornamental.

That is worth knowing as a homeowner. Before anyone treats your house, ask for the business license number and the certified operator’s name, and check them with the department. Ask to see the product label too. Any company working properly will hand both over without hesitating.
